PBX ? Technical information ? FAQ ? FAQ10015 : 16/May/2011 : Verified Code and Extension Number at once in TDA SMDR FAQ10015 : 16/May/2011 : Verified Code and Extension Number at once in TDA SMDR Q. TDA family's SMDR output does not have extension number when verified code feature is used to make a call. We need both of verified code and extension number simultaneously. A. See following three solutions. Depends on your customer's condition (customer's purpose), followings can be a solution. * The Method 3 or 4 seems most confortable according to our experience. (Method 1) Please lock all extension by station lock feature, then make a call by walking COS feature. In this case, PIN input is required to make a call as same as verified code feature, and the extension number of the COS origin is printed into SMDR output. It looks more easy to adopt to a billing software. (Method 2) Please program verified codes which has relation with extension number which is used to make calls. For example, for ext.102 user, verified code is "102", too. In this case "*102" is output in SMDR. (Method 3) Please consider the combination with Account code feature and Verified Code feature. By following dialling, Account code feature and Verified Code feature are activated simultaneously. "*49[AccCode]#*47*[VerifiedCode&PIN]": *49 is feature number of Account Code feature, *47* is feature number of Verified Code feature. When a user made a call to outside number 4771235 with AccCode=12345678 and VerfiedCode=1234, the SMDR output (Type-A) is shown below. Date Time Ext CO Dial Number Ring Duration Acc code CD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15/12/05 11:31AM *1234 02 4771235 00:00'04 12345678 If the extension number which he used to make this call, is used as AccCode, the extension number appears at "Acc code" column. For example, when an user make a call to 4771235 from extension 102 with VerifiedCode=1234 + PIN=9876, he should dial as follow (local access number is '9' in this example). "*49 102 # *47* 1234 9876 9 4771235" Then SMDR output should be as below. Date Time Ext CO Dial Number Ring Duration Acc code CD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15/12/05 11:31AM *1234 02 4771235 00:00'04 102 So now, we can have extension number and verified code in SMDR output simultaneously. But this dialing is too long. I recommend to use Personal Speed dialling feature to dial first half of this dialling. In above case, register "*49102#*47*" in Personal Speed Dialling: Location 00. To make a call, user must dial "***00" instead of dial "*49102#*47*". After this dialing, TDA system required input Verified Code and PIN. After Verified Code check, this user get DT from system. He can dial '9' to seize a line and make a call. (Method 4) Please try to change reserved (bits) 03-6 in System Option to Enable. The column of "Acc code" show verification code and the column of "Ext" keep to show EXT. number. ----
